A new commission finished last week of my neighbours house. Watercolour on Aquarelle paper.
This was a real challenge to paint as the woods and greenery are quite dark and the stone is different shades of grey and ochre. It was painted outside in situ, over a few sunny days which helped. Commissions are really stressful as you are never sure whether the finished work will match their expectations but luckily they loved it!
