Mid August visit to York to see the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibition at St Margaret’s. This has been a sell out in America and soon moves to London and round the UK, including Manchester. Images of Van Gogh’s paintings are projected o to the walls of the church all around you, they move, morph into something else and change, accompanied by music as you watch. It is very cleverly done a d truly immersive. The best bits for me were the portraits and the mock up of his bedroom. However, after the Immersive bit that’s it, there’s little else bar a drawing section and the shop. So although it was good I would say it’s not good value for money.
